J & K founded in 1981 by Chairman Mr. John Engledow, who was apprenticed to the glass and glazing industry, commenced trading from a garage sized workshop.
Setting out with a policy to produce quality products and fair pricing has compounded and developed long term retail and trade customers throughout the Eastern Region.
Sales of UPVC double glazed window products commenced in 1974. Originally bought in they are now manufactured locally in J & KsÂ’ two factories to supply building contractors, window companies and our own installation teams.
Double glazing units are manufactured in our factories providing a much improved delivery and quality controlled environment, plus general leadwork, artistic and customised designs by specialist staff.
Computerised manufacturing technology has been employed for many years to maintain quality and accuracy. Recently a free of charge computerised drawing service has been added to assist customersÂ’ vision and clear impression of how various design window replacement and conservatory products would appear on their homes.
J & K windows, doors and conservatories are made from Eurocell "Euro Logik" multi chamber UPVC profile, reinforced with galvanised steel and extruded aluminium to achieve maximum rigidity, extended life, trouble free, warm and secure homes.
